My Adventure (by Thalia)

it was on the 12th of Juin, I was on a ship from England going to America, for work. One night there was a very violent storm and it started to shake the boat, I was scared because everyone was screaming and children were crying. As the storm got bigger and bigger people were starting to panic. The ship was starting to sink, I was alone in my cabin on my bed thinking it was a dream but it wasnt. I started to fall asleep while the storm was still hitting the boat.. I thought I was going to die and never wake up.

A few hours later I woke up on a beach soaking wet and sand all over me... I looked around me, nothing, not even a body or a piece of  boat, I couldnt believe I was the only survivor, maybe I wasnt, so i got up and started to walk around the beach it was so beatiful the sand was white and soft and the water was so pale and hot. I could see coconut and banana trees, I decided to go and pick some coconut  because I was starving and thursty. I normally didnt really like coconut but this one I loved, it was juicy and tasty i could live on this! The sun was starting to go down and I didint have anywhere to sleep, I was worried that there would be animals or insects in the night that would come and eat me or something like that..So I made a simple little tree house out of bamboo branches and leaves. 

The next day I woke up, the sunlight just shining on my face, I never felt so relaxed in my life.. I was starting to think of my friends and family how they must be so worried about be, they must think I'm dead! I finally decided to get big branches to make a huge SOS sign on the beach so that in case a plane or a helicopter would fly by they would see it and come and rescue me. It's been a few days now that i've been on this island and no plane or helicopter has flown bye. One day I heard a noise it was a singing noise, a voice, I wasnt alone. I was finding my way to this noise and a few minutes later there were little paillots ans indien people singing and dancing around a big fire I went to see them, at first they were a bit scared of me but then I tried to be calm and speak to them, I think they like me, they feed me and let me sleep in one of there little houses. I've been staying with them for weeks now, i've made new friends and they seem to really like me. I dont know how long I will be here for, but for the moment I am staying until somone comes to rescue me.
